Earth4Energy Review

Tom's #1 Choice – Earth4Energy ©

Overview: Earth4Energy is the most popular DIY solar and wind guide on the internet. Is it really worth the hype? Or is it just another SCAM? The quick answer? I've reviewed over 20 DIY Solar and Wind energy guides and Earth4Energy is without a doubt the real deal. Yes Earth for Energy has it's flaws, yes it will take some manual labor to create your own Solar Panel or Wind turbine, but what did you expect? If you want to save thousands of dollars, you'll have to sweat a bit! The guide assumes you have no technical background or experience. The instructions provided are extremely detailed and presented an in an easy to understand manner. That could actually be a low point for the more experienced technical users, which might find the detail amount and repetition a bit tiring. The new 2009 edition now provides 3 detailed videos making the building process even easier. Some diagrams are a bit too simplistic and could be improved to ease the understanding for novices. Reduction to my utility bill using 3 solar panels was at around 85%. As it seems now with 4 or more solar panels you can get off the grid and start earning money for your extra electricity. I will keep you posted once I set up 5 panels.

What You Get:

    * 3 Instructional videos
    * Over 300 pages of detailed information on creating your solar panels and wind turbines
    * A complimentary ebook on creating bio diesel worth $49.95
    * 5 extra ebooks containing extra tips for making your assembly process hassle free
    * A solar calculator allowing you to estimate how much money you'll save if you go green
    * A handy tool for finding the necessary parts online
    * Discounts on other green energy products

Pros:

    * No prior technical knowledge is required (though I highly recommend you have a more technical friends helping you out on your first try)
    * The only guide with instructional videos
    * Extremely detailed diagrams and photos
    * A lot of bonuses
    * Using my exclusive coupon, you get the guide for only $27, making it the cheapest option out of all other guides

Cons:

    * The introduction chapters are a waste of times (my opinion skip them)
    * May be over detailed and repetitive for the more experienced user
    * The wind turbine section could offer easier to understand instructions
    * The 98$ solar panel the guide suggest you can build is unrealistic for a first try.

Guarantee: 8 Weeks. I never tried requesting a refund from the guys at Earth4Eenrgy (because their product actually work), however they do provide an 8 weeks money back guarantee in case you wont be able to generate your home electricity (I doubt that will happen).

Prior Knowledge Required: None. For the totally un-experienced newbie, your first solar panel may take you between 4-5 days to build and you might ask one of your more technical friends to help you out on your first try. Your second try will take about 2 days to complete. My 3rd try cost me only 100$ and took me about a day and a half to complete with my 13 year old son.

Customer Support: Excellent. Very quick reply (I got a reply within 5 hours). The answer was informative, helpful and to the point.

Parts Cost: $200 assuming you'll follow the parts list (and the exact locations the book offers you to buy them). As I stated, my 3rd attempt building a solar panel cost me a little less than $100.

My Verdict: Still the prime DIY Solar panels guide available. The new 2009 edition makes the construction process even easier. There are still a few diagrams included which could be improved, but without a doubt a solid one stop guide for moving your home electricity consumption to solar powered.
